Making an Appointment
|
If you are interested seeing a doctor about your child's SMA, you may want to schedule an appointment with Dr. Ching H. Wang here at Stanford. He is the SMA specialist in the Pediatric Neurology Department at Stanford's Lucile Packard Children's Hospital (LPCH). This department takes appointments by referral only, regardless of insurance, but you can have your child's pediatrician's office call us at (650)724-4270 for a Consultation Request Form. Once they fax it back to us at (650)724-5344, a scheduler will contact you about finding a specific day and time for the appointment. |
For international patients, the process needs to happen through International Medical Services. They are available by telephone toll-free from a number of countries, and those numbers are listed on their website through the link above. For Spanish-speaking families, you can request an interpreter at (650)497-8371 and then finish your call through the translator. We also have a number of other specialists here at Stanford that have a great deal of experience working with SMA patients:
You can get in contact with their clinics if you would like to make an appointment with any of these doctors. Clicking their names will take you to their LPCH Profile Pages. |
